I’m a 14 year old guy and I’m kind of a mommas boy that’s right. Not like the nerd in the movies but I miss my parents easily. They got a divorce last year and even though it was amicable, I spend a week at each house now, both in the same small town in southern California (beach cities). My mom is going to visit a close friend in south Carolina for two weeks and I know I will miss her. I’m just having these emotion/stress attacks about that, seeing each parent half of the time, and living in two houses. How do I deal with this? PS I already go to therapy bimonthly. And an extra question: idk the exact city but how generally safe is south Carolina? Thanks.

I’m easily stressed, don’t manage time well, well-spoken, stiff, mild Asperger’s, worry over every little thing, did a Canadian Law course in school did NONE of homework, what I did do was a pain in the ***, but something keeps saying for me to be a lawyer. Why is this? How do I get this out of my head? I’ve got a slight temper, am easily offended, can’t deal with poeple, don’t enjoy reading, would feel bad prosecuting, couldn’t defend someone I know is guilty, couldn’t do civil law, I’d feel bad for litigants, couldn’t do family law. My dad says lawyer is a good job, but my mother says she would never want me to be a lawyer, so should I just respect mom’s desires and stay away from law? I get REALLY stressed and confused when my routine changes, and want a predictable job, where you know what you’re up against when you go to work, which doesn’t seem to be a lawyer’s job.

Is this a good job for me? Someone with mild Asperger’s?, How do I get this out of my head? Please be thorough.

4 years ago i got divorce in orange county,ca My ex husband wanted to take away my daughter for no reason, he was very abuse person everything got fixed in court I got grand full custody of my daughter and child support, and i move with my parents in los angeles county, since then i been in the system of tempary relief welfare, the child support office of los angeles took the case from my divorce to garnish my ex husbands checks. Now that 4yrs has pass he been paying his child support since then but he wants to take the case again to court because he says he cants pay it and wants to stop paying and wants things his ways because he is in deep debt cant pay his car payment and bills. can he do that and take the case again to the same courts and same judge if me and my daughter don’t live in that county anymore and state child support is now handling the case what can i do.. he is threating me alot and i’m scaried of his harresments
To add.. Im going to college and doing freelance work. i go by ways to make money also. His salary has not change and still working the same job over 12years, the only thing that he is going nuts because he has a big debt credit card he owns that he uses for his attorney fees is stupid and over debt of 42 g because he helps his mom to remodel her house and lives with her. so he doesnt pay rent. he lives for free. so i don’t understand how can he reopen the child support case if Nothing has change i don’t know what he is going to show proof< he is a very good liar.

On May 4, 2010, we had a hearing for Modification of Support and motion for back support and atty fees (her motion) and a Motion for Reimbursement of overpaid daycare (our motion).
Support was revised as incomes had changed and 2 years had past.
Our Motion for reimbursement was granted in the amount of 7
Her motion for atty fees and back support was denied.
On May 14 they filed a Motion to Revise Commissioner’s Ruling and Notice to Appear (6/10/10).
They are citing RCW 2.24.050 and LR 0.7.(Spokane County Superior Court, WA) Their grounds for this motion are that mom feels like shes being punished because the judge retro’d the daycare but refused the back support. And that their discovery findings were ignored. And states that no child support worksheets were filed with the last amendment of the previous order so they were for all intent and purposes potentially invalid pursuant to the statue. Which is 1/2 right and 1/2 wrong. the last hearing was a contempt motion, which revised the temp child support order in place, adding the daycare to the transfer payment. although, no child support worksheets were filed at that hearing, but they were filed 2 months prior when that same order was amended due to a tax exemption discrepancy. the prior order has been a temp child support order since feb 2008, we began modification and finalization of this order in march 2010 as mother refused every attempt we made to finalize this order.
So….my question is What exactly do I file in response to this?
Do I file a Motion to Deny? Just a declaration? I cant find any local court instructions, rules or forms that tell me what it is I file in response?
I know I am running out of time to file a response so any help would be appreciated. We are pro-se going against a very shady lawyer who knows all the loop holes and knows how to manipulate and take advantage of pro-se people.

Well i am 16 turniing 17 in October and I live in Southern California. I am responsible for myself and just want to be independent already. I am tired of living in California and I want to move to Nevada. My mother cannot because she is getting divorced and since my brother is still young they don’t let her move. Through my whole life ive been pretty unhappy; My family was never really a family because we never went out together or did normal things a typical family does and well that has kind of traumatized me. I am also tired of being told what to do and it makes me feel trapped and imprisoned and i can’t take it anymore. I was so unhappy i tried to kill myself two weeks ago but after than I realized that is not a solution to my problems. I know my mom loves me but I am simply not happy anymore. I also have a boyfriend that I have been with for over 3 years and since I tried to kill myself she is trying to separate both of us and won’t let me see him; she say I have to wait until I am 18. I see no difference I mean what’s the difference between now and 18? She says I can be with him just not see him. So i’m really tired of this because I just want to be happy and independent; make my own money, buy my own things ect. So how can I get emancipated and move to a different state because this is confusing me.

I am from Arizona. My husband and I are in the process of getting a divorce. There is no set parenting time schedule, and we have been following a schedule which I created based off of the Maricopa Count Superior Court guidelines for children our children’s age (my son is 19 month old) since he refused to participate in creating one together. Two days ago on February 10, 2010 we had our hearing for the temporary order of support. I was granted spousal maintenance as well as child support for our two children (we have a daughter who is two months old). There is no court order for parenting time (visitation). On Feb 10 my husband came to pick up my son as usual based of my parenting time schedule and yesterday Feb 11 he text me an hour before I was to pick him up and told me that he was going to be keeping my son and not give him back to me and that I was to call his lawyer with any questions. I called his lawyer who informed me that Mr. Kennedy was going to keep my son until I sat down with them and agreed to their parenting time schedule which is FAR FAR FAR off from the suggested schedule from the court for children their age. My husband is trying to get out of paying so much for child support and spousal maintenance. I then called the police and asked for a civil dispute dispatch at his place of residence simply to have either a.) my husband give my son back. or b.) get a police report which stated that he was withholding the child from me. I knew going into it that the police were unable to tell my husband to give me my son as there was no order for visitation in place, I simply wanted evidence showing he was withholding
child from me. He was not at his home, and the police tried contacting him several times. His mom finally arrived home and five minutes later he returned the officers phone call. The officers informed me that they were going to go meet with him and find out the story from him and call me once they had it resolved. I went home and got a phone call from the officer stating that my husband was more than willing to return my child, that i just needed to call him to schedule a time before he left for work in the morning. He is a firefighter and works 48 hours on and four days off, so my son was going to be with someone other than myself or my husband for the next 48 hours since he was withholding him from me. I know this because I contacted the fire department where he works and they informed me he was was still in fact scheduled to work. I immediately called my husband to arrange a time where I could go pick up my son. no answer. I called him repeatedly and finally two hours later he answered. I very clearly said, and only said, when can I pick up our son. He then said we need to sit down and discuss the parenting time. I again said, when am able to come get our son he then asked me when he could see him again and I said the next day on the schedule I created based off of the Arizona Superior Court guidelines which he refused to participate in on two occasions. He then said to me well if you agree to the visitation schedule I want then you can come get him in a week and only if you agree to the schedule I want. I refused and so he told me I was not going to get my son back then. I have never withheld my children from him. I made the parenting time schedule around his work schedule. I am a stay at home mom and the custodial parent of the children. I obviously am representing myself. I am not interested in people telling me to get a lawyer. I cannot afford one. I have tried to apply to the volunteer lawyer program and did not qualify. I am looking for legal advice that will help me please. I am going to wake up first thing and head to the court house to file SOMETHING to get my son back and also something to implement a schedule which i can give to the police to get my child back next time he does this. Can anyone inform me what documents i need to file or point me in the general direction. My husband is using my son as a pawn against me to simply hurt me. This is not the first time he has tried to spite me since the divorce proceedings. Its two months until our final divorce hearing. Any advice (not opinions) would be greatly appreciated.
I am 22 years old. I have a 19 month old and a 2 month old. I have a high school diploma. I was granted spousal maintanence because my husband and I agreed when we were together that it was important for me to stay home and be with the children. I have been a stay at home mom for two years. The judge ordered my spousal maintanence because there is no job I can get that will pay for child care and have any difference left over to support myself and my children. I would basically be working to put my children in day care and away from me. Day care for a new born infant alone is nearly 1000 a month and 500 for a two year old. Granted I could even find a job with no experience and a highschool diploma in the economy. Help please. I have not slept for nearly 24 hours trying to figure this out so I can leave here to go file something.
not to mention I stayed home to take care of our children while he furthered his education to further his career opportunities. He is making 51,000 a year. I wasnt grante spousal support and child support by a judge for no reason.
