ORANGE, Calif. — The wife of televangelist Benny Hinn has filed for divorce from the high-profile pastor, whose reputation as an advocate of prosperity gospel has attracted millions of followers and criticism from lawmakers and watchdog groups over his lavish lifestyle.

Suzanne Hinn filed the papers in Orange County Superior Court on Feb. 1, citing irreconcilable differences, after more than 30 years of marriage.

Surely a man with Hinn’s gifts to heal the invisible ailments of millions could apply that expertise to his own marriage. Or am I missing something?

my marriage was not working. My husband left Las Vegas where our family had resided for 3 years and went to his home town in Missouri. I made the mistake of my life allowing our 8yr old little girl to go with him to see her grandparents for two weeks then husband was suppose to bring her back to me. The husband has proved awful character and i’ve found him to be the most dishonest person I have ever met, so before they left to Missouri I wrote a very specific binding contract stateing we both have agreed for April to go on the trip and He has to promise to have her back in las Vegas with me by a certain date. This was on July 12,2004. He rarely lets me talk to her, If he wants something he Uses our girl for blackmail. Just this month After lying to a lawyer and also family courts about having no idea where i was, he managed to divorce me and was given sole physical cousody. I lost by default. when he didnt bring my baby home like he agreed in the contract I immediatly tried to file kidnapping charges. Police said I couln’t because we are married and he is her legal father. They said he can take our daughter anywhere he wants. I need to mention that when husband left las vegas he assured me rent was paid all the bills were current. Things turned out to be exactly opposite. I was evicted from apt within the week, My vehicle was repossed and all the sudden I had nothing! No daughter no husband no home,no vehicle, no phone.
