I need to find a pro-bono family law lawyer in Butler County Ohio. ?
I have contacted Legal Aid with no luck. they claim I make to much, but they wouldn’t tell me what the income cap is. My ex has filed bogus claims of abuse against me. (They are completely bogus) But I need a lawyer to represent me, I can’t afford one because I only make and hour and pay my child support. I need help not rude responses, so keep those to yourselves. Very few family law attorneys work pro bono. You might have better luck hiring a paralegal to prepare your paperwork and representing yourself in court.
If you have a college locally, call them and ask if their 3rd year students do pro bono work, sometimes they do and that would work well for you. If not just get on the phone and start calling lawyers and asking them, you never know, one might help you out.
