Husband finds out about wife’s affair Aug. 2008. Gets mad and throws her out. She moves in with daddy. Husband waits until Feb. 2009 and files for legal separation. Questions : Why not file for divorce? Why legal separation? Is there any advantage either way? How long will it take for her to be divorced? She now has some mooch boyfriend living at daddy’s house. Can husband sue the boyfriend?

Can either male or female spouse receive spousal support from the spouse who earns the most money?

There is a version that you must meet one of six requirements. Other states have law which makes it much easier to recieve divorce. Any information would be helpful.
